Today is the International Day of The Gypsy and the Bomfim Foundation is associated in the dissemination of the Campaign “Discrimination is Lack of Education”, promoted by EAPN Portugal /European Network Against Poverty, and aims to demystify a plural – “the Gypsies” – supposedly representative of a collective entity only imaginary, and almost always negative, which seeks to classify a whole ignoring the parties. And, mostly, responsible for maintaining negative prejudices that fuel social discrimination.
Myths must be deconstructed and everyone sensitised to the promotion of the dignity of all human beings.
